Bug Description
It would be great if the visibility and text size of Reference, Value, Footprint and so on could be controlled globally in eeschema.
I am thinking of a check box that turns the visibility for these fields on, off or the individual setting of the component.

I don't think this is ever going to deserve the implementation cost (or UI complexity cost) of a global setting with overrides.
However, an Edit > Set Symbol Fields (a la pcbnew's Set Footprint Fields) would be nice.
