strange behavior of template selector dialog

The template selector window behaves strange:

when opening it System Templates is chosen and the path diplayed is
/Applications/Kicad/kicad.app/Contents/SharedSupport/template
no templates are shown (there are none in this directory)

Pressing on User Templates does not change the path, no templates are shown.

Then pressing System Templates changes the path displayed to
/Users/[user]/Documents/kicad/template/
Still no templates are shown (valid templates are installed here).

Pressing on User Templates changes the path back to
/Applications/Kicad/kicad.app/Contents/SharedSupport/template

Going back to System Templates and validating
/Users/[user]/Documents/kicad/template/
the path finally gives me the templates.

Switching between Sytem and User templates then, the path stays
/Users/[user]/Documents/kicad/template/
on both

This is also broken on Linux, but differently - it correctly shows the path matching the selected tab, but *never* lists any templates, despite me having confirmed there are indeed template files at the path.

This bug is still active, and makes really cumbersome to work with templates in OSX. It must be something really simple (at least I think so), so please take a look :)

I submitted a patch that fixes this (or at least improves the behaviour). See https://lists.launchpad.net/kicad-developers/msg30790.html.

With this patch the user and portable templates will not be shown until the "Browse" or "Validate" button are pressed, but at least the paths will be updated correctly.
