Selecting Hotkeys menu item displays error dialog

Bug Description

Clicking on the Hotkeys menu item (not an item within the Hotkeys menu) in the Preferences menu displays an error dialog (png attached). This occurs in all sub-applications or kiway frames that I tried. It is completely harmless but a bad user experience nonetheless.
