Eeschema and pcbnew zoom redraw very slow witn default settings xorg.conf.

Distrib Mandriva 4.1 x86_64, graphics AMD Radeon HD 4350/4550.

After set
Option "EXAPixmaps" "False"
in section "Device" xorg.conf zoom redraw OK.

Would you say it is a problem of video drivers or KiCad? I think there is not much we can do about it on our side, especially that it works fine with other driver/video card sets. Does OpenGL canvas change anything?

I tagged this radeon, because google seems to mention only radeon when searching for EXAPixmaps, and the two users reported here us it.

Also note that if anyone is using wxgtk 3.0 with gtk3, zoom can also seem slow. Maybe not as slow as reported by the two other users. I currently recommend to use wxgtk with gtk2.
