Bug Description

During crashme tests, it is possible for the server to die. In such a case, the test tool requires manual (or at least outside ) intervention to restart the server. We need some code to monitor the output from the crashme subprocess and handle things if this occurs.

summary: - Detect crashes / have a better timeout
+ crashme tests need to detect server crash to handle restart or timeout

NOTE: once this is merged to staging, we will need to update the Jenkins crashme job to:
make test-crashme vs. ./dbqp --mode=crashme!!

I made an attempt at monitoring / interacting with the crashme run, but it ended in tears / was tricky.
We take the cheap route and run in --batch-mode which will just die on crashes, etc.
