Have you tried running from source? You will need Python and wxPython installed on your Windows machine to do so. You can get the correct win32-unicode wxPython installer here: http://www.wxpython.org/download.php#binaries

If running from source works, we can be certain that this is a problem only with the binary and can go from there.

Which version I've to use? As I remember from last test it was for
python 2.5 is it?

It should work with 2.6, but 2.5 is preferred.

I tried to run Keryx from source code (as you said) by using Python 2.5
& wxPyhton for py2.5 but it failed and I got error message as shown in
the attached file.

What you suggest?

All right, that tells me that the problem is not with the executable.
As of right now, I have no ideas. I'll investigate further tomorrow
and tell you what I find out.

Hey, sorry about the delay. I expected to have time to look into this, but a five-day trip came faster than I expected. I'm still catching up after my time offline, so please hang in there for a little longer. I'll get to work on this bug soon. Thanks. :-)

I tested on three XP machines and a Win7RC, but could not reproduce the error.

So the good new is, the problem does not occur on all Windows machines.
The bad news is, I have no system to test bugfixes on.

I found where someone else ran into the same error. Try his instructions, then run Keryx again from source: http://blog.oneortheother.info/tip/python-fix-cp720-encoding/
