Hello,

I have to questions, I had ubuntu 16.04 LTS, upgraded to 18.04 LTS and then to Ubuntu 20.04.1 to KEEP the /etc/network/interfaces which IS SO much easier to work with.

Anyway, I was wondering, ive read that Kernel 5.6 was amazing for Linux and now I saw 5.8 is even better with cooling methods to not get so much heat map. Which kernel IS stable enough and which can Install without any problems ? Is 5.8 ready for ubuntu ?

I also read that its 20.04.1.5 or 20.04.5 out when I use uname is only says 20.04.1 did I do anything wrong on the upgrade ?

And where can I find the kernel 5.6 or 5.8 for my Ubuntu server ?
