Kdenlive: Help->docbook gives page not found.

Selecting Help and then kdenlive Handbook opens the KDE help center with a documentation not found page. On investigation, it appears that /usr/share/doc/kde/HTML/*/kdenlive/index.docbook.gz should be in an unzipped form. (index.docbook).

sudo gunzip index.docbook.gz fixes this on my system.

Note: this bug was also found in a Kubuntu session, not just ubuntustudio.

do you have the package khelpcenter4 installed? if not in Konsole type:

    apt-get install khelpcenter4

It came right up.

Yes khelpcenter4 is installed. (though I think kdenlive is lacking a depends for that) Note that just gunzipping the index file made it work. So either kdenlive is wrongly gzipping the file or khelpcenter4 is not able to gunzip it.
