If you open a text/plain file in Konqueror and go to e. g. a text/html website in the same tab afterwards, the website is displayed as text/plain, so you just see it's sourcecode.

Technically this behaviour is 100% correct, since you are using the kate KPart for showing the text file, and Konqueror doesn't switch KParts on its own. Also this issue wouldn't happen very often since the usual use case would be: click link to text file -> read text -> click back button.
Still this is a usability issue and should be reported upstream.
