Sound disappears during recording

I experience severe problem with recording in both 264 & VP8: sound disappers in the beginning of almost any video longer then ~30 seconds. Sometimes this happens at 0:20, sometimes at 2nd minute, but this is 100% reproducable.

I'm on Ubuntu 11.10

What info I should provide?

I tried reproducing this several times and the sound was always present. I tried with H264 and VP8 it was always working. After you make the recording and you confirmed that the sound is gone, please take a look in the /tmp folder there will be kazam_debug.dot file and possibly kazam_pipeline.png.

Please attach both.

Also, try using the latest source from Launchpad.

I had the same problem with Ubuntu 12.04. The audio stops after a few seconds while recording video is seamless. Why does this happen?

Because the sound stops working? Why does this happen? You can not create a complete screencast with audio.

I just started using the program today, I'm having the sound disapear and then come back out of sync with the video 30-40 secs later. I'm using ubuntu precise, just updated the ppa from: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kazam-team/stable-series, I have the latest version.

This problem occurs on both encoder versions. I'm having trouble finding the files in the /tmp as mentioned above, search produces no results

Is this still an issue with more recent versions of Kazam? If someone can install version 1.3.5 from Unstable PPA and try it would be most helpful.
