Bug Description
I am not 100% sure this is technically called a "bug", but I had Kazam freeze silently (!), and lost an important lecture recording.
Situation:
Preferences: "Automatic file saving: off"
Situation: I have a small-ish $HOME folder (which is synced via git between several systems), and a large data partition (mounted as /library)
After recording is over, I always ask Kazam to save the MP4 file somewhere in the /library.
Situation: I find out Kazam froze. Upon investigation, I discovered that Kazam was writing a huge temporary file in $HOME/Video (!), and when the space was filled, without any furhher prompts, Kazam froze.
Ideal solution: add an additional configuration option on where to save the (potentially huge) temporary file, with /tmp set as default, and a possibilty to change that.
And, thank you for writing your great screencasting program!!
