Installed kazam on 12.04 records video and audio fro a while and then cuts out why ??

Bug Description
I want to record youtube videos . My system is 12.04 ubuntu all current updates . Installed kazam this will record video and audio but cuts out after a min or so . Is there a fix ? let me know or a good replacement that will do the job ?
