I am running the new Debian 7 (Wheezy) and using the Xfce4 desktop manager. I have managed to get the record region going, but it won't let me record. In fact, it won't let me record even without the recording region.
I installed via the repos that are given in the download files. |

Just a little update. I decided to run it in the terminal to see the error that it gives, and here's the error:
