impossible to choose a zone

Bug Description
with ubuntu 13.04, impossible to choose a zone to record. i've juste + in first but when i travel on a screen of firefox i can't record : the + doesn't exist i cannot define a zone ; on a video with VLC it is the same problem; but on the only desk of ubuntu i can have a record zone.
on the interface the "zone" doesn't exist near the other as it is shown on the view of kazam
i had kazam with 12.10 all was well ...
and i prefered this old interface.
