Bug Description
After I add an existing user Staff9, Staff9 still shows up in the drop down list.

Yalan, regarding the second part, it actually is a button. When you click it, an action is taken, just as in KARL2. However, in KARL2, the button says "save tags". We can't really say the same thing, as we aren't doing the same action.
If you'd like a correction on the text, or removal of the button, could you open a new bug (we try to skip reporting 2 bugs in one issue)?
