When a non-KARL user is invited to a community, they get a URL to the Accept Invitation screen. Here they process the invitation by entering information about their profile. If successful, they get logged-in and sent (ultimately) to the community where they were invited.
Requirements
=============
1) Since the person is not yet a user, and thus not logged in, this has to be a view off the root site. It can't have the various tabs and looks pretty generic.
2) The invitation key should be pretty opaque, to help foil being re-used.
3) But the invitation URL should fit on one line in an email, to avoid being dropped out. |
