multupiload files does not work within folders

Multi Upload under files folder works fine. It also shows up on line when you are at the folder level. At the folder level it does not appear to work at all. You click on it and the screen blinks with no output change. see screen shot to get starting point.

This has stopped working under IE8. the error is in the screen capture

I believe I have now fixed this.

For the reference, this broke every page in ux2 on IE8. The root error was the Access Denied in selectivizr.js line 293. It seems that all other errors were consequence of the first error.

Please re-test on IE8 and if you see any more js errors, re-open or enter new ticket!

you need to test the fix on karldev / ux2 branch for now. The change will only propagate to the staging, after Chris will have done a new merge.

Could you please check if the error has solved on karldev / ux2 / IE8 ?

(p.s. I just saw ux2 deleted from karldev, so I recreated it for this test.)

I just tested on karldev/ux2 and when I go to files and click on Multi Upload button it throws me back to Overview for that community. I am using IE8

I'm getting the same error as Jim described. Also, nothing happens when you click Multi Upload if you're in a folder.

Jim has just confirmed to me on irc that this works now on ux2 with IE8. It is possible that your browser did not update, or you test on the wrong branch (this fix is not yet on staging). However there can still be problems so If Jim can also recreate this error then please let me know and I take care of it tomorrow.
