Bug Description
Server manager re-images the node with 3.13.0-24-generic image when re-images toubuntu 14-04,
We recommend customers to use 3.13.0-35-generic image, so our testing should be with 3.13.0-35-generic image.
So need to download the correct image with 3.13.0-35-generic kernel and use it for re-imaging.
Updating the PR with the conversation had with Ignatious.
Ignatious,
The standard 14.04 LTS ISO comes with 3.13.0-24 kernel. (fyi 14.04.1 comes with 3.13.0-32) AFAIK we can't and shouldn't change the kernel during reimage.
The right thing would be to use upgrade_kernel task via fab/SM like we did for 12.04 (or) older way of compiled vrouter and corresponding depends field.
(We also need to understand why is it recommends and not depends)
We shall discuss this tmrw and update the forum.
Thanks,
Senthil
