Bug Description
I have installed contrail 3.0 and using QFX5100 switch with version 14.1X53-D46.7. I have established layer 3 connectivity and also connectivity with the management interface of QFX5100 switch and able to ping the TSN ip address from the loopback address of QFX5100 switch.
The status of controller is shown as up and mentioned below:
show ovsdb controller
VTEP controller information:
Controller IP address: 10.21.222.126
Controller protocol: ssl
Controller port: 9999
Controller connection: up
Controller seconds-
Controller seconds-
Controller connection status: active
But other than that I am not able to see any logical switch being formed by the controller on the switch. Also not able to see any vxlan tunnels or ovsdb mac addresses. When I do show ovsdb commit failures, I am also not able to see any commit failures.
Please Help. Really stuck with it for about two weeks.

Have you defined ovsdb interface on QFX? Sample below:
set protocols ovsdb interfaces xe-0/0/10
Please note you should've xe-0/0/10 in ethernet-switching family.
Once you have this, you will have to define this in Contrail WebUI -> Confgiure -> Physical Devices -> QFX --> Add interface xe-0/0/10 and map it to the VN you expect the BMS to be in hanging from QFX. You will have to configure the MAC address of your BMS too. Once you do this, you will see tor-agent doing a ovsdb commit on the QFX like below:
set vlans Contrail- 1665a6a8- 4517-4536- a7d2-190e6afb9b 20 interface xe-0/0/10.0 1665a6a8- 4517-4536- a7d2-190e6afb9b 20 vxlan vni 4
set vlans Contrail-
Hope this helps. You can mail me <email address hidden> if you need any help further
