Project Name created with special characters does not reflect in contrail GUI

Hi Team,

Customer setup:Contrail v2.21.2 Build36

Issue
======================
Project Name created with special characters (TLS:Test) in openstack does not reflect in contrail GUI. So, they would like to know out of below special characters which are supported in contrail throughout the workflow such as Project name, VM name, VM network and so on.

The Special characters are as below

: " \ ! # $ % & '( ) = - ~ ^ | @ ` { [ ; + * } < , > . / ? _

Troubleshooting
======================
1. Customer created project named "TLS:Test" in Openstack which does not reflect in contrail GUI. I believe that this is because we only support one time : in domain name:Project Name.

I have tested this(contrail-2.21.1-19) for project and it seems below are working out of mentioned special characters for project name but not sure about other like VM name and VM network

Please provide your inputs , which special characters are allowed for entire workflow.

On 3.0 (tested on 52~juno):
All of these special characters work for creating a project and they reflect on the Contrail UI -
: " \ ! # $ % & '( ) = - ~ ^ | @ ` { [ ; + * } < , > . / ? _

For VM, VN, ports, security groups, policies, ipam creation, the following special characters can be used and work well -
- “ ! $ ‘ ( ) = ~ ^ | @ ` { } [ ] > , . _

On 2.2 (tested on R2.21.x/43~juno):
All of these special characters work for creating a project and they reflect on the Contrail UI -
: " \ ! # $ % & '( ) = - ~ ^ | @ ` { [ ; + * } < , > . / ? _

For VM, VN creation, these work -
“ ! # $ % & ( ) = - ~ ^ | ` { } [ ] + > . / ? _
