Steps:

Created a in-network service chain between vn1 and vn2.
During deletion if the service chain, I still see that the RI corresponding to vn1 is still present in the API server.

This is most likely happening because of schema transformer crash with the following traceback. This crash is already fixed in both branches. Will keep the bug open until Ganesha is able to test with the next build.
