Bug Description
R2.1 Build 28 Ubuntu 14.04 Multi-node setup
Lets say the fwding options are (in order ) : MPLSoUDP,MPLSoGRE, VXLAN
Have a VN with 2 Vms in it. The MAC-IP entries are "stiched" as seen below
root@nodeh5:~# rt --dump 1 --family inet |grep 10.1.1.3
10.1.1.3/32 32 P - 17 2:58:47:
I updated the fwding options to VXLAN, MPLSoGRE, MPLSoUDP
Now, the "stitching" is gone.
root@nodeh5:~# rt --dump 1 --family inet |grep 10.1.1.3
10.1.1.3/32 32 F - 17 -
It gets updated only when i launch a new VM in that VN. Then, all such entries will have MAC-address stitched to their IP
summary: |
- when encapsulation is updated, MAC-IP stitching in route-table is list + when encapsulation is updated, MAC-IP stitching in route-table is lost |
