Edit Global ASN is failing

Steps : (mainline Build :2423)
1.Login to contrail Web UI
2.Go to configure --> infrastructure --> BGP peers
Edit global ASN is failing with MX
Getting the following error message in MX :
 BGP RECV 10.204.217.51+179 -> 10.204.216.253+63881
 BGP RECV message type 1 (Open) length 59
 BGP RECV version 4 as 64512 holdtime 90 id 10.204.217.51 parmlen 30
 BGP RECV MP capability AFI=1, SAFI=128
 BGP RECV MP capability AFI=25, SAFI=70
 BGP RECV MP capability AFI=1, SAFI=132
 BGP RECV MP capability AFI=2, SAFI=128
 BGP RECV Restart capability, code=64, time=0, flags=
 bgp_process_open:3374: NOTIFICATION sent to 10.204.217.51 (Internal AS 64510): code 2 (Open Message Error) subcode 2 (bad peer AS number), Reason: peer 10.204.217.51 (Internal AS 64510) claims 64512, 64510 configured

Can you clarify the following:

- Old and new values of global ASN
- Was the MX configuration changed so the peer-as for CN peer is the new global AS
- What are the values of ASN in bgp-router and bgp-peering objects seen via API server

Old ASN was 64512 and MX configuration was 64510 after editing the Global ASN to 64510 and after editing the BGP peer to 64510 and its sending the values as 64512 only .
in API server it was showing the old value 64512
