Migrating a k8s model fails and the controller log contains an error:

controller-0: 19:01:30 ERROR juju.worker.migrationmaster.8bed75 model data transfer failed, failed to migrate binaries: cannot open resource: unable to retrieve resource: Get https://localhost:17070/model/65196a85-c129-42d0-89a7-b135ea8bed75/applications/mariadb-k8s/resources/mysql_image: tag kind controller not valid

This may or may not be k8 sspecific.
