Bug Description
Hey all,
The Juju vSphere cloud provider does not handle VSAN storage. For example, if a customer is using vSphere with no local datastores, but instead, is using VSAN, juju will fail to provision the machines as there is no way to specify the VSAN storage device.
Juju expects a local datastore to be used and available on each ESX hypervisor, which is not the case when using
Please see the video here: https:/
Unfortunately this blocks the automation around CDK deployments, so the manual provider has to be used with Terraform or some other provisioning process. I do not have a test environment up with available VSAN so I cannot attach any logs or output, but I know this is not working right now as another customer tested it.
vSphere versions used were: 6.5 and 6.7.
Cheers,
- Calvin
