[2.5, upgrade-series] execution of prepare sub-command should show up somewhere

Bug Description
{ This was discussed internally but I'm not sure if it's being tracked. }
When the 'prepare' sub-command is used with `upgrade-series` it would be very valuable to have this fact included in the output to `show-machines` and `status`. This is not currently the case.

Status shows the updated output that the unit is awaiting a return from reboot and that feedback is deemed ok for the time being. It's not in show-machine I agree.
