Thanks for the info. That helped clear up things a bit.

Regarding the naming:
From an administrator's perspective where I want to split up some of my applications across different models or controllers, I don't find the term SAAS very fitting. They are still juju applications, just hosted somewhere remote.

I understand that the team might want to angle it more towards end-users who will treat/consume without necessarily know how it works behind the curtain as a more SAAS approach, but that term then does away with the main juju concept/terminology of an application.

Please feel free to come up with better alternatives, but I feel like Remote Applications or Consumed Applications would be more representative and communicate that they are remote juju applications.
