progress indicators on fake tty's will append output rather than replace

Bug Description

I would like to preface this with it is purely cosmetic and currently only affects the user experience when doing a deployment via conjure-up.

We monitor the juju bootstrap output and render that in our conjure-up UI for giving a better indication on what's going on in the background during a bootstrap. If this is a new juju bootstrap an image sync will occur and that's where our output in conjure-up will get out of hand and fill up the viewable screen real estate with the progress indication.

I am hoping that maybe we could test the terminal type and provide a suitable output if we aren't on a real tty
