juju-wait error when juju status run from a second shell

Bug Description

While waiting for a deployment to complete, I logged into the juju client host system from a second shell and ran juju status. This appears to have caused an error from juju-wait, running in the first shell.

ubuntu@production-cpe-1844fa28-6439-47b9-a581-f808fc652887:~/cpe$ sudo juju status --format json > /tmp/juju_status.json
ERROR write /dev/stdout: permission denied

Jenkins console log:
