In juju 2.1.2, it does seem to be tab delimited, so maybe this is due to a change in juju.

I'm adding juju to this bug report, as the output of show-status-log does not appear correctly parseable without effort and making assumptions. Adding the standard --format=yaml and --format=json flags should make this future proof, avoiding things like locale issues rendering the timestamps differently.
