cannot add relation between nagios and mysql

Bug Description
I first had a default mysql db, and monitored it successfully with nagios through juju-gui.
I then created a non-default-named mysql database (mysql-gitlab)
I then attempted to set up monitoring to that one throughthe gui as well.
it wouldnt connect.
When I went to command line and used
juju add-relation nagios mysql-gitlab
that worked, and displayed through the gui

hm. actualy, it stopped working for the regular mysql instance as well.
i had to manually re-add that through command line too
