cannot deploy charm with changed name in GUI

Bug Description
i'm trying to use juju-gui to deploy a second instance of mysql.
I get iton the canvas.
Go to configure.
enter a new service name.
Press Save changes....
but it doesnt stick. it reverts right back to "mysql"
