container select box doesn't display

Bug Description
1) manually add a new machine using "juju add-machine ssh:..."
2) in the gui, select the machine to place a unit - the container select box doesn't appear for some reason.
3) select machine 0, the container select box than appears, and then you can switch to machine 1 and choose the right container.
attached a screencast of this going on.
I think I'm running juju-gui-36 (latest change in the changelog just says "REVNO")
