Bug Description
As seen in
http://
Deployer and Quickstart are broken. Both error when talking over the API. The errors vary by the maases
ValueError: No JSON object could be decoded
or
socket.error: [Errno 32] Broken pipe

I believe this has been fixed with the changes made for bug #1543216. This failure has not been seen since that change was committed.
