Bug Description
The Juju QA team is trying to run unittests in lxc to reduce our needs for limited resources. We setup a job to run the ppc64el unititests in lxc and found the tests that pass outside of lxc fail inside lxc. This one test that is run many times consistenyly fails

^ This test looks like one of the tests that should be skipped when run with gccgo, but is not skipped in lxc. The full log is at

NOTE(dimitern): LXC has nothing to do with this, I managed to reproduce this with gccgo on both ppc64el and amd64 outside of an lxc container
