Trying to mixdown to mp3 when it's not supported crashes Jokosher

Bug Description

1. Use Jokosher0.2runscript to download Jokosher and CVS GStreamer on a standard edgy installation.
2. Load Jokosher and add some instruments however you want.
3. Choose File>Mixdown and then select mp3 as output format

Jokosher fails with a traceback

gobject.GError: no element "lame"

This was fixed by installing gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly-multiverse. Anyway there _has_ to be more decent way how to say there's no codec instead of crashing.

Can reproduce this on very current Hardy.
