Feature Request: Instrument Groups

I suggest that 'Instrument Groups' are introduced, similar to Layer Groups in Photoshop et al. I am requesting this because imagine the situation when have 3 Mics, 2 Guitars, Bass, and an entire Drum Kit micced up; there are going to be a hell of a lot of tracks, some of which will not need altering at all (ie. the Backing vocals and probably the Drum Kit) once they are set up. Allowing users to group intruments together would greatly improve use of screen real-estate as well as organisation.

I had a similar (possibly the same thing) concept on this. My idea is having collapsible groups of instruments, that users can collapse/expand to hide/reveal several instruments at once.
I'll probably try investigate and try to get something like it for our next release.

Three groups are unfolded, and one is folded to hide it, the "Drums" one.
