Bug Description
It would be marvelous if we could listen to what we are recording while we are recording.
When we record a sound (from my guitar in my case), we need to listen to what we are doing, so actually I use jack, just to do that.
Such an option would be great because average users could easily record intrument, without taking time to configure tools like jack.
I hope my english is not too bad.

The reason this has not been implemented is because most sound cards have an option (like jack does) to change the output volume of the microphone. In gnome-volume- control, I have a microphone volume in the recording section, and a microphone volume in the playback section. If I increase this volume in the playback section I can hear what I am recording through my speakers.
If enough people have sound cards which don't allow this then we can implement it in jokosher as well.
