Hi,
unfortunately, at the moment we do not have time to add support for Solaris x86. As soon as the next release is out we can and will look into this.

Cheers,
Andre

I do not know all the detail, but I think downloading and burning the openSolaris liveCD may be a good step.

I guess then, we would only have to compile the libraries on the live system. But of course, I remember all the pain compiling the binaries was....

If it is possible to get the sourcecode I could try to compile the binaries

If you could do that this would be great!
I can give you links to the source code except for the kakadu libraries. We have to compile the kakadu libraries ourselves due to license problems.

JOGL with cg bindings (http://jogamp.org/) -- needed for OpenGL modus
ffmpeg (http://www.ffmpeg.org/download.html) -- just for movie export
mp4box (http://gpac.sourceforge.net/home_download.php) -- just for movie subtitles

After successfully compiling the binaries you can send them to me and I will add them to the project. Please also tell me which OS (distribution and version number) and which compiler (name and version) you used.

Many thanks!

for ffmpeg, do you need h264 support? It needs an extra library and I'm afraid to end up with a deep dependency chain of all sorts of libraries...

no jhv does not need h264 support.
