Bug Description

Experimental-release branch, rev. 167: Built jar file, started up JHV for the first time (removed ~/JHelioviewer/ beforehand).

At start-up, the "no image loaded icon" sits in the upper left corner, and the rendering mode is set to "software". When I click the "get images" button, the icon jumps to the right place. The rendering stays in software mode, despite the fact that OpenGL is selected in preferences. After unselecting and reselecting it, it works. The log says:
2010-06-18 21:23:35,909 [AWT-EventQueue-0] INFO root - Store log settings to /Users/dmueller/JHelioviewer/Logs/Settings/log4j.properties
(but I haven't changed the log settings).

When I close JHV and restart it, it is again in software mode :-(
