Bug Description

Adding another auto-text type (date/time) for which one could specify a format using a format string in a similar manner to the strftime function in C

Thanks a lot for the suggestion! I'll look into it for version 2.0.

I don't understand the purpose of this. I mean, you create a presentation for a certain date and mostly you'll use it just this one time as it is. Why should a presentation have always the exact current date?

I reuse presentations a lot, for different reasons. When I'm visiting somewhere, I'm often asked to present my a couple of times in quick succession. Also I lecture, and reuse the same slides from term to term, tinkering with slides in between courses... imho it's a cheap feature to add, and has it's uses
