Bug Description

The applies to all of the generic-mediumtests. There is an occasional need to skip these tests on a one-off basis. This could be accomplished by omitting the test_suite. Devs could then trigger a build without the test_suite to get the desired result without updating the cupstream2distro-configuration.

Need at hand: unity8 and unity-notifications - it's a chicken'n'egg problem, when unity-notifications runs unity8 suite, but unity8 depends on unity-notifications, so we need to be able to merge stuff into unity-notifications without running unity8 tests.
