New files occasionally report modified "-1 days ago"

Bug Description
When creating a large number of new files (such as checking out a repository) you occasionally get a Modified column containing "-1 days ago". The actual date on the tooltip appears to be correct.
Possibly a corner case when time == now?

Despite the fact that this is a weird timestamp, do we actually handle files
with a date in the future (legitimately)? As weird as it sounds, should
probably report "Modified: Tomorrow" and such.
