Bug Description

A user is reporting an error displaying a directory. It has allegedly
'about 4000 files'. We think it's just the sheer number of files causing
the problem (assume no unicode filenames).

It's an issue with the ulimits. It seems to eat about 32MiB of RAM and then vanish,
which is a bit odd as the ulimits are much higher than that. It also only affects
amd64, because Python eats lots of RAM there.

Changing to Critical, as it is blocking bjpop from writing the project spec.

We can either fix it, or tell him it isn't going to be fixed in a timely fashion.
