The Virtual Filesystem of TestFramework (now in
/lib/common/testfilespace.py) needs to be added into Console so that the
Virtual Filesystem behaves as intended. At the moment all files are done on
the users home directory and adding virtual files or folders are noops. |
TestFramework originally had a virtual filesystem implementation which allowed student code to manipulate a virtual file space controlled by the test suite. This behaviour was not reimplemented as part of the port to the console subsystem, so it is no longer functional. It has been removed from the UI, and TestFramework forbids attempts to use this functionality.
Virtual filesystem support should be reintroduced in the console backend.
