Bug Description
after downloaded and extracted on the Desktop (Ubuntu 12.04), error message saying it cannot find the file /iStoa.

Indeed this warning message can't be prevented, it is a regression in Pharo 3.0.
Now Pharo forces application to provide the whole source code of Pharo itself, there are no more option to prevent such warning message as it was possible with previous version of Pharo. I will forward to Pharo team.
