Bug Description
Attached patch (to 1.5.90) can be used to scan a firmware file for potential firmware offsets. I merely changed existing methods to not abort but gently return, so that the return value can be used to check for success.
This is meant as a developer's option, as the file needs to be updated with the SHA1 sum as well. All output to STDERR should therefor be redirected to /dev/null .\
Additionally, one compiler warning was fixed as well.

Hi,
Very good idea !
The process now seek for a preamble to find the offset instead of using SHA1 sums. Then the regular extract + patch process runs.
This will simplify a lot the maintainance !
I released 1.5.91.

Étienne
