Bug Description

Currently, if there is a time-consuming effort when deploying, the user will have no idea of the progress.

For example, when I try to download the image to the compute node, it may take a long time, and I can't know the progress unless I check the long, and sometimes even the log gives us no such information.

This is a bit annoying, and it will be good to show the progress of the deploy so that end user will have more idea of the progress, and if something wrong, it will be helpful to get the error point and be helpful to analysis.

How do you propose we accurately show the progress? Image download/write is going to be the majority of the deployment. Need some more details here, maybe a spec.

Progress can, for the most part, be identified by checking the current deploy_step field on a node. As such, moving this item to won't fix.
