Bug Description

ironic/tests/api/base.py should be oslo'ified at some point.

ironic/tests/api/base.py originated from ceilometer/tests/api.py (which moved to ceilometer/tests/api/__init__.py). See related bug 1193666.

Kai, the set of oslo libraries exist so that projects can use the libraries instead of having their own copy of the same/similar code. "oslo'ified" means to move the copied code mentioned above, into some oslo library (or create a new oslo library for it).
