Hi,
Thanks for this very useful application! I use it to transfer photos from my mobile Phone to Gnome!

A small bug report: if I send multiple files at one time (from a Siemens C75 mobile phone) then the % shown by ircp-tray is wrong - it goes way over 100%.

That's not really that annoying, but also the location of the 2nd file and onwards is not the same as the 1st file. The location of the first file is the chosen location, the 2nd+ files end up in the home folder (~/).

I don't know much about irda protocol so I can't help debug except by reproducing the problem if needed.

One other small thing : there is a typo in the "Incoming File Transfer" dialogue: the title bar says "Incomig" not "Incoming" !

Finally, but this is probably a Gnome issue, when I had a remote location with high latency in the Gnome Places (Connect to Server, FTP) then the ircp-tray "Incoming File Transfer" dialogue (upon transfer 1st file) seems to take minutes to even *appear* and the irda files are never sent. Probably a generic Gnome issue because of a slow connection? When I deleted the FTP connection, this problem disappears.

Best regards,
- Gerrit

Dear Gerrit,
Sorry for response soooooo late ;) And very thanks for your
report. I don't have a device that can beam multiple files
continuously, so I never expect such thing happen when coding
it. What a surprise it does work ;)

I'll find time looking into it. Beside that, the typo is
fixed.

On the slow file chooser dialog issue, I don't have much
idea yet. Will ask some Gnome people about it.

The OBEX Push protocol allow to send only one file for time.

Set "Won't fix".

Changed in ircp-tray:
status: New → Won't Fix
